Public Space Development Community Feedback Sessions
The Erie Downtown Partnership is seeking input from the community regarding public spaces in downtown Erie. As part of our mission to create a safe, fun, and welcoming downtown for all, EDP will be working with urban planning firm Smith Group to facilitate an intensive three-day workshop to understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities for downtown’s public spaces to include Perry Square, Griswold Park, and a third site that will be selected with help from the community.
The plan will specifically explore what infrastructure, amenities, and programming are needed to improve public spaces downtown and inform the EDP’s programming strategy for the long-term.
Come join us at the Raymond M Blasco, MD Memorial Library for an exciting event where you can share your ideas and help shape the future of downtown Erie! This in-person gathering will provide a platform for the community to voice their opinions on how to enhance public spaces in the area. The community visioning session will be held first to understand what activities people want to do in their public spaces as well as what features or improvements could help draw people to downtown.
Community Open House
