Marketing + Member Services Coordinator

About the Role  

We are seeking an individual to assist our executive team with strategic programs, events, communication and marketing initiatives, and stakeholder outreach to advance our organization’s mission to make downtown Erie safe, fun, and welcoming for all.

Our work spans various audiences centered on improving the downtown environment in such a way as to produce a positive outcome on downtown’s economic vitality and quality of life.

The Coordinator will demonstrate a good work ethic, attention to detail, and work well in a team setting.  This person will support the CEO, Development Director, and Events and Marketing Manager at the Erie Downtown Partnership.

Essential Job Functions
In coordination with the CEO, you will assist with the organization’s revitalization strategy and goals.

  • Assist Events and Marketing Manager with event and organizational marketing and social media to include content development, design, photography, web site updates, press release development.
  • Assist Events and Marketing Manager with event logistics, vendor coordination, and vendor relations.
  • Oversee the Downtown Erie Digital Gift Card program.
  • Assist CEO with the organization’s communication to the board of directors and membership outreach.
  • Assist CEO with grant programs for membership.
  • Assist CEO and Development Director with preparing mailings and updating the database.
  • Assist team with benchmarking on progress and reporting to grantors and stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Candidate Experience

At least one to three years of professional experience in roles that include:

  • Marketing
  • Public Relations
  • Graphic Design
  • Content Creation
  • Project Management
  • Event Planning

Preferred experience with the following software: Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office (Excel), Mailchimp, and website CMS (Silverstripe)

Compensation and Location

The Erie Downtown Partnership provides a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, generous vacation and sick time, holidays, and a match of employee contributions to the 401(3)b retirement plan.

Salary range is $35,500 - $41,500 based on experience.

Our team works from our main office located in downtown Erie and allows for flex and remote working hours as needed with approval from the CEO. Some occasional travel may be necessary.
