Dinner and a Movie at the Station
Marty Pituch, owner of The Concourse at Union Station, will provide the dinners. We will charge $10 per person for the dinner and Marty will make something that “fits” the movie of that night. (there will be no charge for the movie–$10 is it–a screaming deal for sure!).
Dinner will start between 5:30 and 6, and we’ll start the movies right around 7pm so we can be out of there by 9 or so.
Our opening night film will be the Buster Keaton silent classic, “The General”. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0017925/
The other films will be:
March 1 The Station Agent – 1hr 29
March 15 Strangers on a Train – 1 hr 41
March 29 The Train – 2hrs 13
April 12 The Night of the Hunter 1 hr 32
April 26 North by Northwest – 2hrs 11.
For those of you who noticed, all the films will have a train or train station in it (we thought that was only fitting : ) and this should be a most enjoyable way to spend some quality time out with some friends (and maybe make some new friends) during the rest of this cold Erie winter and enjoy quality, classic movies in an historic and unique downtown venue.
